There are literally dozens of opportunities to network within the AGC of St. Louis. Many of our members say that effective networking is the number one advantage of their membership.
For example, a general contractor can meet subcontractors, vendors and professional service providers at committee meetings, educational programs,
civic and social functions, and a host of other AGC of St. Louis events. Your membership will also give you access to a national network of companies which are similar to yours with whom you can exchange ideas and discuss problems and solutions. Industry Support
Keeping the commercial construction industry vibrant and healthy is always a top priority of the AGC of St. Louis. We participate in many efforts and activities to support our industry.
We influence legislative action on the local and state levels, while the AGC of America is active at the national level. We support candidates for local and state offices through our Political Action Committee. We help advance certain legal issues which will have a significant impact on our industry. And we market the value of AGC membership to construction owners, architects and engineers, elected officials and the general business community.
We are a Member Driven Organization
Our members determine the direction of the association through the committees they serve on and by the programs, policies and priorities that the committees recommend to our Board of Directors. The Board is composed entirely of members. The staff of the AGC of St. Louis administers the decisions made by the membership and Board of Directors.
