The AGC of St. Louis maintains liaisons with area colleges and universities including
St. Louis Community College,
Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville,
Washington University in St. Louis and
Central Missouri State University at Warrensburg. In many cases, AGC members serve on advisory committees for these institutions to make sure that their curriculum fits the needs of the St. Louis construction industry.
The
St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley offers two-year programs in construction technology and civil engineering technology. Both
SIUE and
University of Central Missouri offer a four year construction management degree program and
Washington University offers a masters degree program in construction management. By maintaining the relationship with area colleges and universities, the AGC of St. Louis helps provide a steady stream of graduates who meet the employment requirements of AGC members.
